1. Data controller
The controller is PiE Consulting Sp. z o.o., ul. Poznańska 50/11A, 60-850 Poznań, tax ID (NIP) 7831790103 (“Controller”). Data protection contact: kontakt@szczep.com.pl.
2. Scope and purposes
We process personal data in connection with the Szczep store, in particular to:
- perform the contract — orders, payments, communication about the service (website design/build, store, AI agent);
- operate the store — cart, technical session, complaints and withdrawals;
- comply with legal obligations — accounting and tax records;
- establish, exercise or defend claims.
Data categories: name, address, email, phone, order and payment data (via the payment operator), correspondence and order notes.
3. Legal bases
- GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) — contract or steps before entering a contract;
- GDPR Art. 6(1)(c) — legal obligations (e.g. tax law);
- GDPR Art. 6(1)(f) — legitimate interests (store operation, security, claims).
4. Retention periods
- orders and billing data — as required by law (generally 5 years from the end of the tax year in which the tax obligation arose);
- correspondence and complaints — until the matter is closed, then for the limitation period for claims;
- session/cart technical data — until the session expires or local browser data is cleared;
- withdrawals — for as long as needed to handle withdrawal and demonstrate compliance with consumer obligations.
5. Recipients
Data may be shared with processors supporting the Controller, including PayPro S.A. (Przelewy24 — payments), hosting/infrastructure providers, accounting, and — for Package 4 (AI agent) — language-model providers named when the service is configured. Sharing is limited to what is necessary to deliver the service.
6. Transfers outside the EEA
As a rule, data are stored and processed within the European Economic Area. If hosting, payment tools or an AI provider involves transfer outside the EEA, this is done on an appropriate GDPR basis (e.g. adequacy decision, Standard Contractual Clauses, or another permitted mechanism). Contact the Controller for details.
7. Cookies and similar technologies
The store uses essential technical cookies (e.g. cart identifier, store session token) required for cart and checkout. We do not use marketing or advertising profiling cookies in this store. Legal basis: GDPR Art. 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest — store functionality) and, where relevant, necessity to provide the service you request.
8. Voluntary provision of data
Data marked as required at checkout are necessary to conclude and perform the contract — without them you cannot place an order or receive the service. The “Notes” field is optional.
9. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, objection, and to lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority (UODO) or your local authority. Requests: kontakt@szczep.com.pl.
10. Changes
The current version is published at https://szczep.com.pl/en/privacy/. We will inform you of material changes in the store or by email where required by law.
